Space Situational Awareness (SSA) capability for Geosynchronous Orbit (GSO) largely relies on Earth-based radar and optical telescopes. However, radar is generally restricted to detecting larger objects at that distance and optical telescopes are restricted by inclement weather and daily solar exclusion. This means that currently there are large portions of the day when activity at or near GSO cannot be observed. A fleet of nanosatellites is proposed for supersynchronous orbit, complimenting current SSA technologies and so allowing continuous coverage of GSO and other high orbits. This presentation covers some of the technical details of the proposed nanosatellites, as well as fleet size and launch dates.
